Partner Alicia Paulino-Grisham Selected By The Florida Chiropractic Physician Association To Present A Continuing Education Seminar Regarding Disability Insurance At Annual Winter Meeting

Alicia Paulino—Grisham was invited by the Florida Chiropractic Physician Association (FCPA) to present a Continuing Education seminar on navigating the disability insurance claim process at the FCPA’s annual winter meeting in Orlando Florida.

On February 26, 2016, Ms. Paulino-Grisham presented a seminar titled “A Chiropractic Physician’s Guide to the Disability Insurance Claim and Litigation Process.” The presentation discussed the role of chiropractic physicians in the disability insurance claim process, from the inception of a claim through a lawsuit. It explored the law governing disability insurance claims, both under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and under state insurance contract laws. Chiropractic Physician attendees received Continuing Education credits. Ms. Paulino-Grisham was honored to be invited to speak about the disability insurance claims process and enjoyed the discussion about the law with FCPA members.
