Disability Insurance Law Group Gives Back To The Community During The Holiday Season
On Behalf of Disability Insurance Law Group | | Firm NewsDisability Insurance Law Group recognizes that amidst the bustle and joy of the holiday season is a tremendous need of many less fortunate. Helping others is at the heart of Disability Insurance Law Group‘s practice, and the firm believes the holiday season is a time for giving back to the community to help those in need.
This Thanksgiving holiday, the firm held its annual canned food drive for LifeNet4Families and matched all donations. The firm also sponsored 5 tables (to feed 50 people) and donated items for Broward Outreach Center’s 2015 Great Thanksgiving Banquet. In Broward County alone, 85,000 children go to bed hungry and almost 700 individuals and families are homeless on any given night. Disability Insurance Law Group truly believes in the statement by W.J. Cameron that, “Thanksgiving, after all, is a word of action.”
In December, Disability Insurance Law Group again proudly participated in the local Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program. The Angel Tree program brightens the lives of thousands of children each year who otherwise would have no gifts to open during the holidays. The donated gifts are given to parents a few days before the December holidays. The child believes the gifts are from his parents or Santa Claus, which helps to preserve the magic of the holiday season. Disability Insurance Law Group also donated to Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options (JAFCO), a Jewish placement service for abandoned or orphaned Jewish children this holiday season.
